Spring is here, and it's time to update your skincare routine ready for the new season. In the spring your skin needs difference products, compared to the winter, so it's time to give your products and bathroom vanity a refresh. In general, you will find your skin improves in the skin so that you may need fewer products in your routine. 

1. Swap out your heavy moisturiser 

When the weather is warmer, you may wish to swap for a fresher, lighter moisturiser over a heavy-duty one, as you may find this clogs your skin more. In the warmer weather, dry skin is less of a problem, so swap your moisturiser to help. 2. Bathe more often 

If you avoided baths/showers in the winter, now may be the time to introduce them as you may be sweating more. However avoid bathing or showering more than once a day, as this can dry out your skin. Make sure to apply moisturiser after showering to lock in moisture.

3. Exfoliate for a natural glow 

After winter, it's time to get rid of all those dead skin cells by exfoliating your entire body. Exfoliating once a week, will give your skin a refreshed, healthier glow and helps your moisturiser soak into your skin. 

4. Monitor your time in the sun 

It's essential to be careful of harmful UV rays when spending time outside in the Spring. The surface can be damaged by excessive exposure to the sun. Sunburn can cause a psoriasis flare-up, and if you suffer from rosacea, you may find you have increased facial redness during this time. It's a great time to add a Retinol serum into your skincare routine to help with this. 

5. Let your skin shine 

Spring is a great time to skip the makeup and go au-natural. Warmer days can cause your face to sweat, which can cause your pores to get clogged, which could result in acne. Try to lay off the heavy foundation during Spring and let your natural beauty shine through.
