I thought it was a spray but no. A quite small amount is sufficient. Shave first. My skin seems to feel softer and I somehow feel better. Should say I am 84 years old. Recommend!
Was recommended this by a mate who always gets shaving rash (I don't, but I'm always on the lookout for good skincare). Anyway, I've tried it and it is really good tbf. Goes on nicely and doesn't leave my face feeling sticky or greasy. Definately makes my skin look fresher. Dropped a star because I don't know how good it will be long term.
The missus bought me this, along with a few other skincare bits and pieces for my birthday. No disrespect but I'd never heard of this brand and thought it would be cr@p. I was wrong! This is a great moisturiser and having looked at Dreamworks's website, I can see they have a good reputation. As the old addage goes - never judge a book by it's cover!
It's a product that I really like a lot. It's very suitable for men's skin. Of everything I've tried so far, this product is the best
Works very well, definitely reduces the amount of dry skin and redness I get after shaving. I didn't have to use much to cover my whole face, it's a small bottle but it is lasting quite a while. I also like that it is made in the UK.
I suddenly had dry, patchy and slightly flakey skin and I'd tried a few of the usual men's moisturisers with varying degrees of success, but after a couple of weeks of using this the flakeyness and redness has really calmed down. I'm hoping that after a few more weeks of use that my skin will continue to get back to normal. Lifesaver, so far - thanks!!
Great, soothing mosturiser and lasts ages. Top marks.
A previous review said it didn't help with post shave irritation. I find that it does, but each to his own. I like this moisturiser. I little goes a long way and it does make my skin look more lively and fresh. Will buy another and see how it goes. Recommended, so far. One star docked for price, as it's a bit expensive.
I've tried them all - Bulldog, Mancave, Rockface, Nivea, Loreal etc. Is it any better?? Truth is, it's better than some but I've not used it long enough to know if it's better than all of them. My faves are Loreal and Nivea and, so far, this performs as well as they do, but it's a lot dearer. You do seem to get what you pay for, though.PROS: 1. Natural ingredients (no long chemical sounding names!)2. Absorbs well 3. Doesn't leave my face shiny or greasy4. Definitely hydrates5. Skin feels smoother and looks healthier6. DOES help soothe irritationCONS:1. Price2. Too much packaging (although it looks cool)
I’ve always struggled with sensitive skin and shaving rash, this cream is absolutely amazing and would recommend for anyone, will definitely be purchasing more of this. Thank you so much for the amazing product, will be ordering some more products from you
To be clear - the primary function / title of the product is not focused on post shave balm. So I nearly didn't buy it, however I saw that it is designed for post shave. However, my skin doesn't feel "soothed" after applying once I've just had a shave. It also, really, just smells like a Vitamin E cream - which is good for the skin, I wanted a better / different smell.
It's a bit on the dear side but it does have a lot of top quality ingredients, so I suppose you get what you pay for. There are lots of long named chemical sounding ingredients in a lot of the cheaper moisturisers. It lasts for a long time anyway and the results are good so I'm more than happy to recommend.
So the description states this is a:-Advanced daily moisturiser men’s skincare, expert anti-aging face cream for men 50ml.Throughout summer it can take a toll on the skin and dry it out so reluctantly I've been making my other half try this out as he has been suffering from dry skin. This seems to be doing its job so far because the dry patches he did have seem to be all hydrated now because his skin looks better. Feels better too.Still not turned him into Brad Pitt or Jason mamoa but maybe if I get a bigger bottle... A much bigger bottle then you never know what will happen. LolSo far so good. But I will update this review if needed.
My husband has been using this cream each morning after his shower, which is when he feels his face is at its driest. The cream is quite thick and has a small scent to it. I like the fact it has some smell to it, rather than nothing at all. But it's by no means a strong smell so it doesn't try and fight with his aftershave but instead compliments it. The cream doesn't soak into the skin straight away, even after a few goes of trying to rub it in. It tends to sit on the skin and soak in after quite a few minutes. I'm told that the cream feels good on his skin and once it's been absorbed makes the feeling of dry skin go away and leaves it feeling refreshed and hydrated.
Would definitely say this is worth a go as it;s pretty reasonable price for a decent men's moisturiser and although I can't say it't knocked years off my partner his skin after using this religiously for nearly two months is looking pretty good and much fresher. He's very pleased with it as it's not as heavy as many others and doesn't give any irritation or reactions even using it not long after a shave so would recommend trying
Pricey for the size however my skin felt great afterwards, would say rather a neutral smell, absorbed quickly and skin felt refreshed and soft.
Bought for hubby cos his skin was looking a bit neglected and I was on the verge of trading him in for a younger model! his complexion is looking far brighter and healthier so I'm very happy!
You can feel this on the skin but it isn't greasy, it is noticeable as a cream though so it doesn't get used every day. My son has combination skin, the usual slightly oiler T-zone, and this moisturiser does make the skin softer to touch after shaving and there have been no skin breakouts. Good to have this as part of a skin care routine, especially with the added UV protection.
This men's moisturiser works for my partner's skin, he has a combination skin, and it feels as moisture as other skin product he uses, but it is more pricy though.
I got this moisturiser as I thought it might help with the dry patches I get on the left/right side and bridge of my nose, which is mainly caused through me wearing glasses. The packaging look nice and premium and so did the inner containers. The cream is not overly thick and go on and rubs in well, without too much of an oily residue. Now, reviewing things like this is quite tricky as everyone’s skin behaves differently but for me, it had the opposite effect I was hoping for. It exacerbated the dryness and caused my skin to become reddened, around the target areas. Although it did not have the same effect on the rest of my face.I will just have to keep looking for one that does work for ME.I hope you found this review & photos interesting, informative, and useful. Thanks for reading.NB. For a sizing guide, squares in photos are 1cm.
Certainly a cream, not a lotion, nor is it whipped, however this is quite light in consistency. This allows it to absorb quickly in to the skin. It does not feel sticky, nor irritate the skin in any way. I found the fragrance very appealing, a light citrus smell, though it does not linger. The pump dispenser works effectively, whilst also making this feel like a premium product in its appearance. This is also the case with the packaging, as it's sold with an cylindrical outer case to keep it in. Very swish (although somewhat redundant). The cream does deliver a good result. In the initial few days my skin peeled a little, like a product with retinol in would, although this does not have retinol in it. After then, my skin has been smooth and soft, fine lines reduced around the eyes. I've been quite satisfied with this product, even though I've not heard of the brand before. The ingredients seem well chosen for their benefits.Dermaworks do have their own website, they not solely distributed through Amazon. They have a large range of products and I would use them again, though perhaps would wait for an offer.
I've been using this as a daily moisturiser for a while now and have found it pretty good.It smells nice, absorbs well and is non greasy. It nourishes the skin and helps it feel moisturised. Nothing more to say about that really - does what it's meant to do.It comes in a pump dispenser and an outer cardboard tube for protection.Although it's good I wouldn't say its any better than my usual moisturiser which is about a 1/3 of the price and available on the high street.I like it and at the right price it would get 5 stars but loses a star for the cost.
I have been using this for awhile and really like how it leaves my face feeling afterwards, I found you only need a small amount on your fingers as it rubs in well and covers a good area of your face.I have suffered from dry patches of skin on my face over the summer this year and I did notice this helped me a lot with regards to this issue.Overall I am very happy with this product but feel for the current price of £16.95 for 50ml this seems slightly expensive.
My hubby likes it. Absorbent without any stickiness. It gives him just right amount of moisture fir his skin.
A nice masculine looking black pump dispenser and a moisturising lotion with a nice aftershave type fragrance. Not too heavy on the skin, more of a lightweight product which does not leave any greasy residue which is a big no no for me. For the price, you really cannot complain and from the ingredients list it would seem to made with quality stuff.
nice smelling moisturiser that dispenses easily and applies just as easy absorbs in well and does not leave any sticky patches good value
